Cedar chips and Cat litter?
Hi!
I’ve seen people use cedar chips for bedding for outdoor dogs, and the local Stray Cats use the discarded bedding for their litter box.
My husband said the cedar chips would make poor litter for our indoor cats, though, because it irritates their sinuses, or some such.
While I love my husband, I wonder if his words are true or not.
Anyone know anything about this one way or another?
Your husband is right (you know it had to happen one of these days 
) Cedar is very bad for pets (and people) and can cause respratory problems in Animals that are constantly exposed to it. I really wish they would stop selling it as bedding for any animal
