Situated in the outskirts of the dominating Montgo Mountain, Javea is one of most famous town of the north region of Spain and is an attractive destination which offers to view few of the finest golden beaches of Spain to its visitor’s. The Europeans get attracted with Javea since last more than 30 years and after seeing the beauty of the town, many of the visitors who came there for an holidays, settled down there only. Divided into three parts: old town; busy port area (these two are almost joined now); and Playa de Arenal (main beach area), the town has a lot that not to be missed.

It’s really a worth by passing the pleasant old centre of Javea few hours in a morning. You can also have a look of the Gothic church of San Bartolome while having walk admiring the buildings with the Gothic features. But don’t miss the busy food market where you can get a fresh fish, fruits and vegetables.

Ports of Javea

These days all the tourists’ destination ports have been changed into the trendy from the older ones with all the probabilities of shopping and entertainment, but Javea is the only port which is still functioning as a fishing port with the same vicinity.

Main Beaches of Javea

Noticeable because of its transparent waters, the Mediterranean forests surrounding them and with the natural beauty, the Javea coast is 25 kilometres long. The main area of the beach is Playa de Arenal with fine golden sand. Cheaper options are available in various bars and restaurants where you can also get sun beds which are chargeable. There is plenty of area where kids can play later in the day as well as volleyball nets are also there.

If you are planning to visit Javea, Spain and are very keen to watch the bulls festival, than September is the perfect time for you to go. As during the first week of September, the Spain’s more unusual bull’s festival starts in which bulls are released into a cage. In this cage the bulls were teased by the local youth who have to jump into the sea once they are being charged by the bulls.
